Afterlife Concert Invades Neighbors' Living Rooms
As the sun rises over our beautiful city, it's important to address the concerns raised by our neighbors regarding last nights Afterlife Concert at the Marine Stadium. We've received numerous complaints and we are asking the City to take action and address promptly to ensure the well-being and comfort of our community.
Intrusive lighting from the event disrupted the peaceful living spaces of neighboring residents. This attached image illustrates the extent of the disturbance.
Unlike Ultra, which implements noise level regulations and a hotline for complaints, Afterlife lacked such measures, showing a disregard for the thousands of residents along the Bay who endure disruptive noise.
The extended duration until 2am raises questions about community standards and regulations, especially compared to the earlier conclusion of Ultra at midnight.
These issues cannot be ignored. We urge the City to take swift action to enforce a midnight curfew for events, and to address intrusive lighting and excessive noise to ensure the peace and comfort of our homes.
