Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Scope of Work: Concrete pours and deliveries (all work to remain within the property line).
Special Conditions:
Abutting neighbors, businesses, and associations must be notified.
If required, off-duty police officers must be retained.
Backup alarms on trucks and equipment must emit white noise rather than traditional beeping.
A designated safety/flag person must be on-site.
Noise-dampening shrouds are required on concrete pump pistons.
Wind protection measures must be implemented to prevent concrete spray.
Nighttime Waiver
Dates: October 1 – December 29, 2025

Scope of Work: Installation of electrical conduits, duct banks, and cable pulling/splicing, taking place in the right-of-way as approved in the permit application.
Special Conditions: Same as above, including neighbor notification, potential police presence, retrofitted backup alarms, and protective measures against noise and debris.
Important Notes
No work is allowed on federally designated holidays under either waiver.
Violations may result in revocation of the waiver and possible restrictions on future applications.
Waivers remain contingent on approvals from the Miami Police Department’s Special Event Section and the City’s Public Works Department.
Oversight & Accountability
Both waivers were issued on behalf of City Manager Arthur Noriega, V, with copies sent to Commissioner Damian Pardo (District 2) and other senior city officials.
