Three Key City of Miami Elections Ahead, Two on the Ballot for Brickell Residents

This election season, the City of Miami will be shaped by three critical races, with two directly affecting Brickell residents and vying for your vote:

  1. City of Miami Mayor (citywide)

  2. City of Miami District 3 Commissioner (Brickell residents vote in this district)

  3. City of Miami District 5 Commissioner (does not include Brickell, but impacts the broader city)

These offices hold significant influence over the future of our city, guiding decisions that impact every neighborhood from public safety and infrastructure to community development and quality of life. Residents can not afford to sit this one out.

For those looking to learn more, you can watch the recent DNA and CBS candidate recaps for a clear overview of the candidates and their platforms. Ultimately, residents must do their own research and make informed decisions, as voting is both a responsibility and a right that shapes the future of our city.

Candidate Participation at Community Events

As part of our commitment to keeping residents informed, candidates are welcome to speak at Brickell Homeowners Association meetings. To ensure fairness and balance:

  • One candidate per meeting will be invited.

  • Candidates must pre-plan and RSVP their participation.

  • The BHA will not be endorsing any candidate this election season. While the BHA remains neutral, board members and representatives retain their right as private citizens to vote according to their conscience, a fundamental right in our democratic process.

November 4 Miami General Municipal Election

This election season is more than a choice of leaders, it is a choice about the future of our city. The direction of Miami rests not only in the hands of those who run, but in the voices of those who vote. Stay informed, stay engaged, and make your voice count.
