Event Recap: Building Resilient Communities — Property, People, and Partnerships
The Brickell Homeowners Association hosted its October Lunch & Learn at the Rusty Pelican, bringing together property managers, board members, and community leaders for an insightful conversation on how collaboration strengthens resilience in South Florida’s communities.
The program, titled “Building Resilient Communities: Property, People, and Partnerships,” explored strategies for navigating the evolving insurance landscape, building effective board-management relationships, and preparing both properties and residents for the challenges of a changing environment.
The discussion was moderated by David Podein, Equity Partner at Haber Law, who guided the dialogue through key themes of risk management, communication, and partnership. Panelists shared real-world experiences and best practices for fostering collaboration between boards, managers, and service providers — all with the goal of creating stronger, more informed, and better-prepared communities.
