Heat Advisory & Weather Alert for Brickell
A Heat Advisory remains in effect, marking the fifth consecutive Heat Advisory for our area. Heat index values may reach 110°F, creating dangerous conditions for anyone spending extended time outdoors.
While yesterday remained mostly dry, scattered showers have already begun developing today. The greater concern will be thunderstorms expected to form near Lake Okeechobee later in the day and move southward as a strong line of storms during the evening hours. If you have evening plans, be prepared for changing weather conditions, as some storms may produce gusty winds and heavy rainfall.
