Empowering Condominium Leaders Through Finance and Insurance Committee

The BHA Leadership Team is pleased to announce that longtime Brickell supporter Juan Cordoba has been appointed Chair of the BHA Finance and Insurance Committee.

Juan is a former BHA Board Member and currently serves on the boards of Voices for Children and The Latin Builders, as well as on the Voices for Children Finance Committee. He will be working alongside Jessica Raffo to lead the Finance and Insurance Committee, which will focus on educational outreach for condominium professionals. The committee’s programs will cover banking and lending, budget planning and management, strategies for stretching association budgets, and insurance coverage and risk management.

Juan is also the Managing Director of Alliant in Miami, bringing 18 years of experience in insurance and finance. Alliant is the largest privately owned insurance broker in the United States, and his expertise will be a tremendous asset to the committee and to BHA.

Jessica Raffo is Vice President of Association Banking at US Century Bank, bringing over a decade of experience in condominium and HOA management. She combines her deep understanding of association needs with the bank’s financial expertise to deliver tailored solutions that support structural soundness and long-term stability. Passionate about empowering communities, Jessica is dedicated to helping associations confidently navigate their financial future.

Together, Juan and Jessica will guide the Finance and Insurance Committee in providing educational outreach for condominium professionals. Programs will address banking and lending, budget planning and management, strategies for stretching association budgets, and insurance coverage and risk management.
