🚧 Public Notice: Rickenbacker Causeway Bridge Rehabilitation

Miami-Dade County will begin a major rehabilitation project on the West Bridges and William Powell Bridge along the Rickenbacker Causeway to repair structural deficiencies and ensure the long-term safety of the bridges.

Virtual Public Meeting:
Thursday, March 26, 2026
6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Held via Zoom (registration required).

The meeting will provide residents and businesses with information on the project design, construction plans, and expected impacts.

What to Expect
• Construction expected to begin Spring 2026
• Project duration estimated at approximately 36 months
• At least one lane will remain open at all times
• Temporary overnight lane closures may occur to limit daytime disruptions

The work will take place along the Rickenbacker Causeway bridges over the Intracoastal Waterway near Key Biscayne.

Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to attend the meeting to learn more and share feedback. The meeting wil be held on the Zoom Virtual Meeting Platform.
