January Community Walk-Through

Braving an unusually crisp January morning, we took to the streets for a community walk-through alongside Commissioner Higgins, the Brickell Police Commander, members of the City of Miami Police Department, board members, and associate members of BHA.

Together, we celebrated progress already made, identified new areas in need of attention, and shared thoughtful ideas for continuing to improve our neighborhood. From crosswalks to safety concerns, the walk-through was a hands-on opportunity to show city leaders exactly where support is needed.

The chilly weather only energized us—and the morning ended perfectly with warm coffee and conversation at Latin Cafe, one of our valued members.

Here’s to stepping up for our community—literally.
