Development Plans for 240 SE 14th Street: Racquet Club and Pop-Up Paddle Courts

The vacant lot at 240 SE 14th Street is undergoing planned developments to introduce a Racquet Club and pop-up padle courts. The temporary setup aims to accommodate three padle courts, allowing up to 12 players at a time. Bathrooms and service facilities will also be included for the convenience of visitors.

The project is expected to be completed within a timeline of approximately eight weeks. During this period, the lot will be transformed into a hub for racquet sports, with proposed operational hours from 7 am to 9 pm. The project will be operating under a Temporary Event Permit (TEP).

In anticipation of increased activity, a parking contract with the Conrad Hotel has been established to ensure convenient access to parking facilities, alleviating any concerns about street parking availability.
